![]() The only 772E replacement on the market is the A350 at the moment. Right now the 787-9 is doing it, but it's a bit smaller. How is Boeing supposed to sell airline like United more 787-10 when they can barely fly flights over 8-10 hours efficiently? United needs an aircraft this size that can fly routes like EWR-DEL, which is more like 15 hours. The 45 UA A350-900 order has a "gray" future as UA already ordered 70 A321 XLR planes. Boeing is much more likely to sell 787-10 as 777-200ER replacements to UA & AA then 777-9 in the next 1000 days. Korean Air, EVA, Air France, Air India, and Air China. Many airlines are probably waiting to order their 777-9 when the fog of Covid and Ukraine leave us. Emirates, Cathay, ANA, British Airways, Singapore Airlines, and Lufthansa need them. All the predictions about United and AA buying 777-9 are a bit early, let Boeing certify the airplane and deliver it to the current customers. ![]()
